A family florist in Miami got 10× more orders from Google in six months.
Flowers by Pouparina, a family-run florist serving Miami and Hialeah, was up against well-known flower delivery companies. Within six months, visits from Google grew 5× and orders from those visitors grew 10×, online and by phone.
Where they started, what we did, where they are now
A small florist against big names
Big flower delivery companies held the top spots, and the shop barely showed up in search or on the map.
Studied the leaders, then beat them locally
Better pages, outreach, and listings in the local directories that top competitors used.
10× the orders
Rankings rose from the second month. Within six months, orders from Google visitors were up 10×, online and by phone.
Flowers by Pouparina, in plain words
Flowers by Pouparina is a small, family-owned florist serving Miami and Hialeah. It is run by a Cuban family who came to the Miami area wanting to carry on their family flower business. They care about doing floristry well, and they offer arrangements and gifts to their local community.
When they came to us, their website was barely visible on Google. Several well-established flower delivery companies already held the top spots for the searches that matter, both in the normal results and in the map box that shows local shops. To get orders, the shop had to show up in both places.
We studied why the leaders ranked, fixed the website, got the shop listed in the right local directories, and got trusted sites to mention it. Rankings and visits began to improve in the second month. After six months, more people were ordering through the website and more were phoning the shop to book.
What stood in the way
Almost invisible on Google
The website had very little presence in search when we started.
Two places to win
Customers see the normal results and a local map box, and the shop needed to appear in both.
Strong competitors
Established flower delivery companies already held the top positions for the searches the shop wanted.
A small local business
To beat the big names, the plan had to be carefully built and focused on Miami, Hialeah and nearby areas.
What six months brought

more people found the shop through Google searches.
more orders from those visitors than when we started.
It was not only the website. More people also phoned the office and booked by phone.
Rankings and visits began to improve at the start of the second month, once the website changes were in.

- Improved the wording on the pages
- Made the website easier to move around
- Fixed technical problems that held pages back

Looking at why the top shops rank shows you exactly what to fix first.
Get found in both places
